Labskin is the leading commercially available lab-grown full-thickness human skin model that naturally supports the skin’s microbiome.

What makes Labskin unique? In short, the way it is constructed. A full-thickness dermis and epidermis allows the production of anti-microbial peptides (AMPs) and naturally produced proteins in the Labskin. This, combined with thick and dry stratum corneum allows the Labskin to support full skin microbiome on it’s surface, including bacteria, yeast, fungi or viruses.

Labskin model has been developed over 15 years, creating an ideal platform for clients to accelerate the creation of new and better products that are ethically tested, that are cost effective and that meet regulatory requirements.
